Clinical Microsystems produced its Anode Heat Controller on an OEM basis for Philips Medical Systems from 1981 to 1991 with thousands of installations worldwide. This experience led CMI to research and development of PEMNET, or the Patient Exposure Management NETwork. PEMNET has been designed with the input and experience of leading experts in the Medical Physics community and truly results from a unique partnership between our customers and our engineers. As a result progressive Hospitals across the country, with an concern for the hazards of X-ray induced skin injuries have insisted on installing the PEMNET system. It is truly considered the Gold Standard for the measurement and recordkeeping of patient skin exposure during diagnostic X-ray procedures.
